Spare parts or service parts inventory control has been one of the important parts of the after-sales service management, which has strong and direct influence on enterprises after-sales service quality and profitability. Enterprises have to keep the right quantity of service parts. If one kind of service parts is out of stock, the maintenance can’t be conducted timely, which leads to customers’ unsatisfactory. However, high level inventory affect the cash flow and normal operation of the enterprise.This paper analyzed the basic theory of service parts management in computer industry and inventory management. Based on the analysis of types and features of computer service parts, combining with the characteristics of service parts inventory, this paper mainly studies the repairable computer service part in a multi-level inventory system. According to the fact that computer service part inventory system is multi-level and multi-objective optimization, considering the characteristics of repairable service parts, this paper put forward the multi-level inventory model for repairable service parts. In this model, the multi-level control system was divided into three parts:local maintenance station, regional service parts warehouse, consolidated storage at national level. The local maintenance station keep no stock, regional service parts and consolidated storage use (R,Q) policy in replenishment strategy. The services parts system and the consolidated storage system have fund limitations.In addition, the repairable service parts let the systems have two sources of purchasing and two types of inventory. Considering all the influences that caused by fault parts return after repair and the limitation of funds, this paper established the function of total cost of inventory system and inventory turnover time for the multi-level inventory system. In this model, the multi-objective function reflects the time and cost optimization in service parts inventory control system. Slow demand and lumpy demand have been applied to this model, respectively.Finally, this paper took a computer enterprise service inventory system as example, combined with multi-level inventory model established in this paper, using KKT to compute. Through the analysis of results, explained the influence of repairable spare parts return on service parts inventory decision at all levels of the system. Secondly, it confirmed that slow demand and lumpy demand has a big difference in the safety stock. Thirdly, this paper also analyzed the different decision as the weight coefficient of objective function is changed. By the analysis of results, it is proved that the multi-level inventory control model is effective.
