Service Parts Inventory Management In FS Company

Nowadays with the development of the economic environment, all the enterprises are facing fierce competition situation. The function of after-sales service play more and more important role in the enterprises. After-sales services contribute a lot for the product competition. Furthermore, service parts management is the main factor to the after-sales service. Therefore, it should pay more attention to after-sales management to ensure the enterprise running successfully.Based on analyzing the whole after-sales service of FS enterprise,in this paper it discuss the method on optimizing the service parts management. It is a big challenge for the enterprise in management of service parts, since the service parts have the characteristic of wide varieties, complex substitution, and instrument with short life cycle. In this paper, it analyze the present status of FS enterprise in service parts management, provide the main problems including low accuracy of forecasting, high stock value, and using the index smoothing forecasting method and(Q,R) strategy to optimize the management. It will help the enterprise to improve the service level and enhance the competition.
