IT Governance Research On N Company

With the rapid development of IT technology, the high integration of information system and enterprise’s daily operation, cause that the entire business environment has been changed. To promote the enterprise to improve the management mode while carry the strategic investment in the IT field, which may enhance the core competitiveness of enterprise. How to position to the IT in the enterprise, how to make IT more integrated with business, how to make the information system stable and efficient and how to supervise and control the risks raised by IT under the high degree of informationization mode, which all become to the significant tasks for the enterprise informationization development.According to the company’s strategy, N company has been established the joint venture factory and the sole proprietorship factory successively. Each branch has the different enterprise type, which lead to the chaos in planning and management during the process of informationization construction, and also the perfect mechanism of informationization security risks control is lack.This article is to research for N company’s governance structure based on the COBIT framework. On the basis of the analysis of current issues, the IT resources could be integrated through the IT governance structure rebuild. For the infrastructure, management system and business system, the various IT governance strategy can be carried out and also the corresponding IT rules and regulations and supervision management can be made. Through the IT governance structure, to achieve the purpose of the integration of information system design, the standardization of operation and management of unification, to improve the effective utilization of N company’s IT information system, and to ensure effective supervision on IT. This article provides the reference of the perfect IT governance practice for the similar enterprises and related industries.
