Study On The Emerging Industry Growth Based On Network Resource Access

With the deepening of economic globalization, industrial development across borders shows the trend of globalization and localization with regional modular, the emerging industry is presented and developing in such context. However, China’s internal technical accumulation is insufficient with the weak ability of independent innovation, high dependence on foreign key technology and low-end chain lock, and the external technology spillover blocked by foreign technology, which restricts the growth of emerging industries. Relying solely on FDI or OEM cannot meet the growing demands of emerging industries, industrial subject needs to be embedded in networks and build diversity networks to obtain resources. Based on these ideas, this thesis tries to research from the perspective of network resources acquired for the growth of emerging industries. After analyzing the process of emerging industries growth and the resources required, exploring resource access, this thesis creates the emerging industries growth model, which provides a new perspective for industry growth.This dissertation carries on thoroughly research on the following aspects:growth stage bottlenecks, network resources demand and growth mechanism. First, on the basis of describing the background, significance, concepts, methods and innovations of this thesis, through literature searches for emerging industries, connotations, characteristics, power factors and growth path are analyzed and reviewed. Meanwhile, the connotations and general theories of network resources are analyzed, and the relationship between the network resources and industrial growth is also explored. Secondly, from the perspective of network resources acquired, network resources requirement of each phase is analyzed, and extracting network resources access mechanism. Then, on the basis of theoretical overview, this thesis puts forward emerging industry growth stages into point infancy, point clusters and chain-integrated from the perspective of industry chain, then discusses the characteristics and factors of each stage. Thirdly, as the focus of this article research, it selects two typical cases of regional emerging industry growth in the empirical research, demonstrates the superiority of network resources for sustainable growth of emerging industries. About all, this thesis analyzes the mechanism of network resources for the emerging industry growth, builds the emerging industry growth integration model based on network resources access.The growth of emerging industries follows the law of industry life cycle, but dividing the process of the growth of emerging industries from the perspective of industry chain can be more reasonable to layout of the industrial chain, and to develop a more scientific countermeasures. Each stage of emerging industry growth faces different bottlenecks, needs different resources. Based on the characteristics of resources, industrial subject needs to obtain the required resources from different industry networks, then to promote the industry to a higher stage of transition, and to realize the growth of the emerging industries.
