| Project Progress Management, as an important part in production and operation activities of the enterprise, is the progress in the development and implementation of the work plan of the enterprise. The schedule management is improved so that departments can make clear goals, find the ways and complete by the deadline to ensure the minimum requirement of time and resources. Therefore, it is one of the important means to quickly respond market needs and enhance industry competitiveness.Roadheader is major product newly developed by CL Company Limited in2013, which characterizes in high technology, complex structure and strong technical independence. To ensure the trial project completed on schedule, methods of project progress management are researched and discussed through text summaries and analysis of the progress of the company new product trial project practices in recent years, making use of domestic and internationally accepted project management theories.This paper mainly elaborates the basic theory of project progress management, followed by the research of the basic theory, methods and tools of network planning technology. This paper bases on the case study of roadheader trial, applying the use of technology tools for network planning schedule of the project organization and arrangements under the background research and data collection on. Meanwhile, project progress schedule has been preliminarily optimized with the use of period-balancing cost, duration-resource optimization, and critical chain technology. Thus, a suitable set of methods of such project progress management is proposed to improve the company’s market competitiveness. |
