With the continuous development of the rural economy in Fujian Province,the income levels of farmers continue to improve, high-income rural familieshave a certain accumulation of wealth, the demand of rural financial serviceshave been extended. Because of long-term dualistic economic structure of townand country, financial institutions haven’t brought enough attention on thedemand of rural financial services. Affected by traditional ideas and farmers’limited knowledge, most of farmers choose to keep the money in the bank for theinterest, thus it’s hard to achieve the maintenance and creation of wealth by usingvarious financial tools.The paper take high-income rural families in Fujian province as researchobject. Firstly, the paper makes sure high-income farmers in Fujian provincehave stable income and assets for financing, and analyzes the most suitable riskyfinancial tools for farmers and a series of problems existing in rural financialmarket, which lay the foundation for the next empirical analysis. Secondly, itintroduces the fundamental of Markowitz mean-variance model, and bring risk-free assets into the model for optimization. Thirdly, combing with the relateddata, it can get the effective portfolio frontier of four risky financial tools andoptimal portfolio with risk-free assets by using MATLAB financial toolbox,andrelated case analysis can prove the feasibility of the study.Finally, the paper can get financial strategy of risky assets and risk-freeassets suitable for the rural families in Fujian province according to the empiricalanalysis. It also puts forward the suggestions from government, financialinstitutions and high-income farmers in Fujian province.
