A Research On Towns Arid Small Cities Developing In Changchun Metropolitan

Urbanization is a process which involves in great changes ofsociety, economics and space. Being a natural carrier, towns and smallcities are different in development and construction due to differentgeographical conditions and situation, especially towns around big cities.Influenced by big cities, the towns and small cities are developing andconstructing at an amazing speed. At the same time, the towns and smallcities neglect their own characteristics of development by blindlyfollowing the big cities. As a result, the cities around big cities aredamaged in construction. Therefore, it is an urgent research on how todialectically protect and develop the towns and small cities in a way ofpromoting urbanization quickly.Based on some theories relating to towns and small cities, the paperdefines towns and small cities around Changchun city in a scientific way,and analyzes current situation and main problems. By analyzing the newsituation, the paper put forward some suggestions on developing andconstructing towns and small cities around Changchun city in greatdetail.
