The lean theory is one of very effective management tools to improve efficiency and product’s quality. Japan and the United Statest’s researchers began to study and analyze Lean philosophy in1950. First, in the production’s area, the lean theory has been recognized by many companies that thought it is the most important management tool to improve efficiency. They believe the customer is the decision-maker to evaluate whether the company created. The ultimate goal of the company that did everything is to service the customers. They removed the waste that don’t make value in order that they can provide more value to customers. The lean theory is very successful in production industry and also gradually expanded to the market and research and other fields.The paper put KT Corporation as an example and used the lean theory to analysis and research in the development of late stage products. The paper includes six chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, include the background and purpose and significance of thesis topics and research methods and content and innovation. The second chapter is a literature review and theoretical basis as well as the application of the lean theory in the field of research. The third chapter analyzed the current development status of KT Corporation that included waste and other procurement issues. The fourth chapter gave a lean measures to be taken to waste as well as Visual and6S. The fifth chapter analyzes achievements of KT Corporation after they practiced the lean management. The sixth chapter is the conclusion and outlook to analyze the broad development prospects in the development of the lean theory.
