The Toyota production system founded by Japanese make the world shocked and impacts completely American’s ford production system. Later, it is called lean production, and a production system of no waste and just doing useful work. So, lean production system is spread.The target of lean production system is the lowest cost, the highest efficiency and the best quality and to maximize the customer satisfaction. The core thinking of lean production is to eliminate all waste, which is a kind of management thinking. As a kind of management technology, lean production is researched by many people, especially in manufacturing industry.Lean production system comes from Toyota Production system, and it is used perfectly in Toyota company and more and more companies start to learn from it. Compared with foreign countries, there is a wide gap in management for Chinese manufacturing industry. It is reflected in extensive management, low levels of site management, poor data tracking, and just focusing on result and ignoring the control of production process, lack of scientific, effective, systematic management approach in overall efficiency of equipment, quality control, and inventory management. Faced with the vagaries of the market environment, extensive management can not meet the requirements of the development of the market. Therefore, our manufacturing enterprises need to improve management thinking and production methods, and introduce advanced lean production, which make their production operations to sustain and coordinated development, improve the overall efficiency of enterprises, and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises. But any kind of good ideas, methods must be combined with the practice. This article is based on the implementation of lean production, and the aim is to build the core competitiveness of the enterprise purpose, according to the experience during the woer company, and propose the research how to implement lean production. The text of the paper is divided into four parts, and the content of each chapter are as follows:The first chapter introduces the background, purpose, significance and the status of domestic and foreign research. A brief review is given about the character and development of lean production.The second chapter, introduces the management situation, organization, and main products of woer. In addition, in order to introduce the significance and necessity, this chapter describes the current problem from the process, site management and quality management perspectives.The third chapter, mainly introduces the preparation to implement lean production, including 7S rapid improvement, rapid improvement week activity and lean culture.The fourth chapter, describes the status of implement the lean production from three aspects and shows the comparison of lean indicators.The fifth chapter, introduces the central idea and limitations of this paper.
