The Research Of Agricultural Trade Problem Under Cafta Background

All around the world, the economic development of all countries tends to be become without borders, economic globalization and regional economic integration has become an irreversible trend. Since the WTO Doha round negotiations was impeded many times which was opened at2010at first, leading to the globalization progress to be slow. Therefore, China-ASEAN free trade area arises at the historic moment, and officially established in2010. So far, the total quantities of free trade area which China participates more than20, but CAFTA is the first one in China’s free trade process. In this background, the paper analyze the agriculture problems between China and ASEAN, believing that by strengthening the bilateral agricultural economic and trade cooperation will increase the bilateral agriculture trade faster. China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation in the field of agriculture will be a valuable piece of fertile field under the CAFTA framework.The article uses the qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, literature analysis and so on. to analyze the agricultural products trade problems under the framework of CAFTA in details. First of all, the article introduces the research background, purpose, significance and the research status at home and abroad of the agriculture products trade under CAFTA framework. And use intra-industry trade theory. regional economic integration theory in this article. All of this provides a good foundation for the next step research. Secondly, the article introduces the establishment background and process of CAFTA. Thirdly, the article carefully analyzes the problems in agricultural trade under the framework of CAFTA and points out that the China-ASEAN trade deficit still persists all the time, export structure is unreasonable and bilateral trade mechanism is not perfect. Then finding out the factors and they can be separated from four angles, they are political factor, economical factor, social-cultural factor and technology factor. Finally, the article analyze empirically based on revealed comparative advantage index, trade competitive index, export concentration index and so on in order to find out the problems which exist in China-ASEAN agriculture product trade and find the way of the development for China-ASEAN agriculture product trade. Though the research of agricultural trade problem under the CAFTA framework, summarize the favorable factors and negative factors in China-ASEAN agriculture product trade in order to open wider to the outside world. It has important strategic significance for the expansion of China-ASEAN agricultural products export trade.
