Sports Tourism Programme Research Of Ecological Cultural Tourism Region In Danjiang Small Three Gorges

With the rapid development of tourism in China, sports tourism is also stepping into a brand new stage with prosperous growth because of its advantages of being environment-protected and stimulating. Danjiang Small Three Gorges is an ecological and cultural scenic spot located in Xichuan County of Nanyang, Henan. Under the background of South-to-North Water Diversion Project, this scenic spot, which is attached much attention by Nanyang Government, is finished with the planning and ready for the construction. Considering abundant resources for tourism in this scenic spot and the matching with conditions of sports tourism, the development of sports tourism would bring great benefits to water source protection and local economy development in this area.At the beginning, the author analyzed the existing tourism planning scheme of Danjiang Small Three Gorges and made the research for the sports tourism planning of surrounding scenic spots. Then, through methods of literature research, on-site investigation, and expert interview, the author got the solution in existing problems of the sports tourism planning as well as the theories and principles, which should be followed when planning the sports tourism. At last, combining the above results with the sports tourism planning of Danjiang Small Three Gorges, the author made the final planning scheme.According to the research for the current situation of sports tourism planning for Danjiang Small Three Gorges ecological and cultural scenic spot, the author has found out following problems: some sports tourism planning is lacked of specialties; some sports tourism scenic spots are not planned systemically; some sports tourism routes are not developed harmoniously. Through the research, the author has obtained principles that highlighting characteristics, putting priority to ecological protection, cooperating for prosperous development, combining resources in town and country, which should be ollowed during the sports tourism planning. During the sports tourism planning, the government should create featured items with combining advantages of scenic spots, strengthen the cooperation among different spots, and collaborate the cooperation between town and country.According to the above results and local actual conditions, the author has designed two sports tourism planning schemes for Danjiang Small Three Gorges ecological and cultural scenic spot, aiming at echoing with themes and experiencing in the nature, as well as focusing on route designing and item setting. Besides that, the author has also selected the evaluation indicators and built evaluation system through Delphi method, and then has selected the best scheme according to the rates from experts. The author truly hopes the final planning scheme for sports tourism can be a reference for the development of sports tourism in Danjiang Small Three Gorges ecological and cultural scenic spot and other similar regions.
