At present, due to a series of problems such as the renewal of insufficient ideas, imperfect construction of tourism infrastructure, the lack of coordination, imperfect management mechanism, and insufficient market strength, we need to adjust the layout of tourism development to turn the Three Gorges Golden Tourism Area into an international tourism destination and make tourism economy become a pillar industry of the area with a productive framework of a key tourism line, three major tourism service bases, four big tourism area, and establish the international and national tourism brand, the national excellent tourism city, the open source market, three-dimensional traffic systems. Taking some countermeasures such as establishing ideas of big development and big industry, reinforcing the construction of traffic infrastructure and tourism protection, focusing on cultivating thetourism market, strengthening tourism marketing development, establishing Three Gorges Tourism Economic Development Zone, improving the inter-provincial regional coordination mechanism, straightening administrative system of the tourism industry, improving the compensation standard of Three Gorges hydropower station, building reservoir resettlement support and key industrial development fund and so on to accelerate tourism economic development and to create favorable conditions for the prosperity and stability of resettlers and construction of Harmonious Reservoir area.
