From the beginning of the 1990s, with the development of information technology leap, geographical distance around the world continue to shorten, the regional economic integration process into the third stage of rapid development in East Asia through various mutual agreement began in East Asia FTA the pace of economic integration. According to the Asian Development Bank (ADB) statistics, from 2002 to 2013, the number of FTA between Member States within the East Asian region reached 29, including 23 bilateral agreements with six multilateral agreements. This one, you can not deny that the transfer amount of FDI plays a very important role in the international academic community have begun to re-focus the impact of FDI on economic integration mechanisms. Academics believe that the main reasons for this situation is due to the sustained and rapid economic growth has not only turned the investment in the country to provide a strong support for East Asian developing countries(regions), it has also attracted FDI from outside (Li Ronglin,2014). In this context FDI East Asian economic integration had become how to influence and affect the mechanism of academic research focus. This article is the study as a basis.This paper describes the meaning of FDI, the nature and classification, respectively FDI development in East Asia and East Asian economic integration processes in terms of the history of the origin, development initiatives, development mode, economic system etc. are analyzed on the basis of the model through the notch, product life the concept cycle theory of FDI impact on the East Asian economic integration mechanisms were discussed. Finally, the current status of FDI and integration in East Asia, East Asia’s economic development provides a number of policy recommendations. Through the study found:1, FDI can be adjusted in terms of capital, technology, employment, resources, etc., thus contributing to the benign economic cooperation among East Asian region in the areas of investment and international trade, thus contributing to the development of intra-regional economic integration in East Asia; 2, East Asian countries(regions) should take effective measures to strengthen intra-regional economic integration process through FDI:FDI actively adjust incentives to improve the quality and structure of the use of FDI, the comparative advantage of countries(regions) in the region to promote the formation of overseas capital to develop differentiated strategies, improve the investment environment.
