At the beginning of 20 th century is the crucial period of the United States history that was the traditional society transformed to the modern society. In the second industrial revolution of auto technology innovation and management revolution to automobile industry has spawned a new industry. Until the 1920 s, the development has become one of the pillar industries, car sales rose to become the world’s first. The rise of the automobile industry and automobile kingdom appeared completely changed the life of the people of the United States and the mode of production, and have a profound impact on the formation of modern American society.This article attempts from the perspective of the development of automobile industry and social transition of the modern American, to explore the correlation between the two, to explore the development of automobile industry and social change law and order to provide history lessons to our country automobile industry development.This paper consists of three chapters. The preamble introduce why choose this topic, and significance of this topic; briefly explain the automobile industry arisen will effect on modern society transformation of the United States. Summarizes current research about this issue from home and abroad and describe this paper want to solve this issue.The first chapter of this paper from the United States automobile industry development based on the historical background, view from the second industrial revolution to upgrade the capacity of the major contribution through the United States compared to the traditional production methods, highlighting used Taylor’s regime and increasing United States auto production capacity, together with United States change and improvement of enterprise management system, which gave birth to the first car was born. In term of external reasons, due to the volatile situation in the world, the United States automobile industry use opportunities of rapid growth of the first war of the world.Chapter two is focus on the United States automobile industry development and its characteristics.The beginning of 20 th century, the American auto industry in general has experienced two stages, 1890--1915 years Yes rise of the US auto industry infancy, and 1915--1929 year is increasingly popular American car period. With the rise of the US auto industry, the United States became a world-famous automobile empire. The rise of the automobile industry, on the one hand the United States has changed the structure of traditional industries, on the other hand gave birth to a number of related new industries.The third chapter mainly discusses the rise of the American auto industry effects on American modern social change. Auto industry the rise of the first changed American urban and rural, urban suburbanization began to appear, began rural urbanization. Second, the popularization of cars made the American people a new change of lifestyle, radius of people’s lives began to expand. Finally, the rise of auto industry, changed the way Americans consumption, stimulate the emergence of the modern consumer society.In short, the birth of the second industrial revolution in the automotive industry and its rapid rise in the United States accelerated the process of the United States from a traditional agricultural society to a modern society, and the US has become world-renowned automotive kingdom.
