| Pharmaceutical logistics distribution center is an organization which is engaged in medicine distribution business and has a complete information network. It has many functions, such as transporting, warehousing, sorting, handling, loading, packing, processing. But the main function is to collect and handle large-scale cargo. To complete the above various functions, requiring mutual cooperation and coordinated operations between different functional areas. The layout position and the size of different functional areas have a close relationship with the efficiency of the logistics processes in distribution center. Therefore, this article will focus on these two aspects.Firstly, the writer studies the functional areas layout problem, analyzing the logistics relationship and non-logistics relationship between different functional areas and quantifying the results of the analysis. Then, chapter four introduces how to determine the position of different functional areas in the distribution center with quantitative methods. Secondly, this passage comes across a series of mathematical formulas which are used to calculate and estimate the size of the various functional areas. These methods are then applied to the layout planning of a proposed pharmaceutical logistics distribution center in order to verify the validity of the mathematical model and formulas presented in this paper. After calculating the practical examples and combining the computing data with the actual situation of the proposed pharmaceutical logistics distribution center, the writer obtains the final layout plan of the functional areas in the pharmaceutical logistics distribution center, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed model and methods and demonstrates that the model and methods have a certain practical significance in the functional areas layout planning problems. |
