Research On The Outsourcing Project Management In Power Supply Enterprises

Accompanied by the further development of global economic integration, outsourcing has been used by business sectors as an important measure to improve management quality and comprehensive competitiveness.Power supply enterprises are no exception.Throughoutsourcing, power supply enterprises can utilize core resources in a more efficient way, improve core competencies,and optimize the allocation of resources, so as to enhance power supply enterprises’ core competitiveness.More and more enterprises attach importance toproject management which has been proved as a popular tool in practice. Through project management, organizations andthe public and even individuals can improve internal management, make quick response to external opportunitiesso as to more effectively to manage various emerging opportunities in business environment. Applyingthe project management concepts to the business outsourcing of power supply enterprises can improve the efficiency of outsourcing, enhance the level of integrated management of power supply enterprises and better adapt to the demand for new business models in the context of the smart grid. However, outsourcing project management of power supply enterprises is still in the exploratory stage, and in-depth studies are needed on such topics asdecision-making methods and selection of contractors in outsourcing projects.Thethesisintroduces the basic theory of outsourcing and project management in the beginning, which is followed bythe elaboration onthe state of the business outsourcing and project management of BElectric Power Supply Company and analysis of the existing problems. It further analyzes the lifecycle management of outsourced projects. Thethesis focuses on the application of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method of outsourcing projects todecision-making and the application of grey comprehensive evaluation method to the selection of contractor. In the last part, the validity of the comprehensive evaluation systema decision-making process of outsourcing project managementis examined by case study.
