Supply and marketing cooperatives, a specific form of economic cooperation, has a long history and diversified business and it’s the economic product accompanied by the founding of new China. In the current construction of the new countryside, it is the important force to promote rural economic development and social progress. In the new economic condition, it is of great importance to explore a new, realistic path to the survival and development of supply and marketing cooperatives. To strengthen the management of the assets of supply and marketing cooperatives and gradually preserve and increase the assets’value, which is important to maintain the integrity of the assets of supply and marketing cooperatives and ensure that it does not lose and more important to better serve the rural areas and provide better material basis for the development of china’s agriculture.First, this thesis describes the current situation of the supply and marketing cooperatives:on the one hand, it introduces the overall condition of the assets owned by the supply and marketing cooperatives-the source and its nature; on the other hand, the overall management and comparative situation of the supply and marketing cooperatives.Second, this thesis analyzes the problems and reasons of the management of the supply and marketing cooperatives, which consisted in the severe flow of the assets of the supply and marketing cooperatives, the unsatisfied achievements of the existing assets and the poor service.Third, this thesis puts forward anti-strategies and suggestions of promoting the quality of management of the existing assets of the supply and marketing cooperatives. Firstly, to strengthen the supervision of the assets of the supply and marketing cooperatives; secondly, to give great priority to the operation and management of the assets; thirdly, to enhance the testing of efficiency of the performance of the assets, establish the efficiency-testing system, allocation-motivated system, risk-evaluating system and responsibility-tracking system; fourthly, to speed up the development of the enterprises owned by the supply and marketing cooperatives which contains speeding up the transformation and upgradation of the company, increasing the cultivation of the name-brand company and the development of talents.; lastly, to strengthen the supply and marketing cooperatives’service capability for the agriculture.
