In this paper, from the perspective of demand, I systematically combed and analyzed the social medical insurance and all kinds of commercial medical insurance products in China. At the same time, with the structure of consumer income I analyze the relationship between the various medical insurance products, including Social medical insurance, and the relationship between mainstream medical insurance and market demand in China. I found the innovative space for medical insurance. From the point of view of innovation, this paper mainly expounds how to innovate the comprehensive medical insurance product field for the mass group, summarize the conditions for product innovation, the requirements for pricing methods and the direction of innovation. Finally, combined with personal work experience are elaborated in detail my actual participation in the development of a medical insurance product characteristics and innovation points. The paper points out the development direction of the inadequacies of the product and the medical insurance products.
