With the advent of the era of experience economy and the deepening competition of the hotel industry, consumer preferences shifted from simply focus on service quality of the hotel products to pay attention to personal consumption experiences and psychological satisfaction.As the new operational types of Hotel, which can provide personalized services and products, Boutique hotel developed rapidly and became one of the focus of hotel industry in china. Zhengzhou Venus Boutique Hotel was established in November 2011, located in Zhengdong New Area, near the Zhengzhou CBD. It is the first cultural theme hotel in Henan province.with "Venus culture" as the theme, it is welcomed by the market and customers. But when it faces a industry-wide losses market environment, there must be some specific ideas and strategies to upgrade the thematic culture creating.So the author composes this article, hoping that it can provide some reference for the boutique hotel`s establishment of Henan and China through the study of the thematic culture modeling and upgrading strategy of Zhengzhou Venus boutique hotel.First of all, by analyzing the present research and theories,the article make clear further to the category of the concept of the boutique hotel. Secondly,the paper summarizes the content of boutique hotel thematic culture modeling by studying actuality, troubles and Some succeed examples of domestic boutique hotel thematic culture modeling, mainly includes five aspects: the choice and determine of thematic culture; landscape and cultural atmosphere modeling; products cultural atmosphere modeling; corporate culture atmosphere modeling; management culture atmosphere modeling. Thirdly, combined with the theoretical analysis and summary of experience, the reasonable questionnaire was designed from the perspective of customer perception. Based on data analysis from the questionnaire survey of Zhengzhou Venus boutique hotel, the paper comes to four main conclusions as follows:Firstly, thematic culture of Zhengzhou Venus boutique hotel is accurate and the market is highly esteemed. Secondly,the customers of Zhengzhou Venus boutique hotel are mainly young and middle-aged guests with high education background and occupation major in businessman and special technology worker. Thirdly, the cultural atmosphere modeling of Zhengzhou Venus boutique hotel is insufficient. Fourthly, the infrastructure and the products are well,but the details of them need to be perfected.Finally, the paper proposes the thematic culture modeling and upgrading strategy of Zhengzhou Venus boutique hotel, including :building themed scenes and space; developing themed products,service,and souvenirs subject; cultivating humanistic management culture and carrying out innovative themed marketing.
