A Research On Compensation Satisfaction Of Landrequisitioned Farmers Based On Equity Theory

Land,which is an important means of production, has important significance for farmers. On the one hand, it is important factor of production of agricultural.what’ more, it is also an important security mechanism which provides basic living sources, job opportunities and old-age security. But since 1996, in the form of domestic three ranges and large scale land-requisition, large number of land was used non-agricultural. Worthwhile, as China’s urbanization rate continues to improve, the enlargement of city scale make the occupation of large number of farmers’ land for the building of the city, causing farmers lost their land. In this process, due to the defects of current land requisition compensation system, land acquisition farmers become "non farming land, employment, no social security" situation, land requisition farmers are not satisfactory with the land acquisition compensation, and have an impact on social stability.This paper chooses Ganzhou, Zhangye city as the research object, using the questionnaire survey method to analyze the influence factors of land-requisition farmers’ satisfaction. In the selection of the study area, this paper chooses the typical oasis agriculture that located in western China, which is less developed areas as the research object. Empirical studies on this kind of city are relatively small, but significant. For the western region that compared with the eastern region, nonagricultural employment is more difficult, agricultural income accounted larger proportion in gross income, which have more severe effect on peasant’s life, and need empirical analysis to analyze how to improve the satisfaction degree. In the theoretical aspect, this paper choose equity theory as the basis, divided the satisfaction of land acquisition farmers into four dimensions, 15 indicators, using the method of regression analysis, analyze the satisfaction factors of land requisition compensation.Research results show that farmers’ land acquisition compensation satisfaction is relatively low. Factors that affected compensation satisfaction include life level, longterm livelihood, decision-making participation, cultural degree. Research also shows that farmers’ expectations of land acquisition compensation are not clear. They hope get high compensation to maintain their life level and long-term livelihood. Through the comparison of relative equity dimensions, farmers tend to be more diversified compensation model, rather than a single monetary compensation. Through the analysis of the procedural equity dimension, farmers are tending to participate in the land requisition decision-making process and the distribution of compensation decision process. In the individual feature dimension of land requisition farmers, cultural degree and whether the party members or village cadre have significant effect on land acquisition farmers.Therefore, this article put forward proposals from following 3 aspects. First, adopt the principle of differential treatment of different types of farmers’ to guarantee the live level; perfecting the employment mechanism and social security mechanism to guarantee farmers long-term livelihood; improve the land-requisition peasants’ participation in decision-making.
