A Study On The Impact Of Technological Innovation On Economic Growth In Heilongjiang Province

The 21st century is marked by the knowledge economy era. With the rapid development of science and technology, great changes have taken place in the national economy. Economic growth mode has turned from extensive way to intensive way, at the same time the economic development model which is oriented by technological innovation has become an important source of promoting rapid economic development. Technological innovation is the creation of new knowledge and new ideas. Only technological innovation can promote the continuous development of science and technology, and the development of science and technology will eventually act on sustainable economic development. Technology innovation has become an important symbol of liberation of productive forces and the national aggressive decisive factor. It is the important way to increase the overall national strength and national competitiveness. From this sense, technology innovation is becoming more and more important as driving force of social development and reform today, and it promotes the rapid development of the modern business world profoundly changed the human way of life and economic development pattern.This article reviewed the relevant research at home and abroad, summarized the theory of technological innovation and economic growth, and qualitatively analyzed the mechanism of technological innovation to promote economic growth. Based on the technological innovation investment subsystem, the technological innovation output subsystem and the technological innovation environment subsystem, a technological innovation ability evaluation index system has been built to measure the ability of technology innovation in Heilongjiang Province. Technological innovation comprehensive score is chosen to value technological innovation, and the real GDP per capita to show economic growth. The main component analysis method is used to evaluate the technological innovation capability and the comprehensive index of technological innovation is obtained. By collecting data from 2002 to 2013, this article empirically analyzed the correlation between technological innovation and economic growth in Heilongjiang Province. For the present situation in Heilongjiang Province, suggestions are proposed to enhance the technological innovation capability of Heilongjiang Province on both government level and enterprise level in order to promote economic growth of Heilongjiang Province more effectively.
