The modular is one of the most hot topics in today’s automotive industry, it has been implemented in the field of production for many years, the advantages of modularity has been recognized by many foreign auto manufacturers, and they therefore have launched their own modular strategy. Chinese automotive manufacturers also come up with their modular strategy, because of advantages of modularity in the reduction of cost and the development schedule. However, the modularization operation of automotive manufacturers in China are still in the troubles of accumulation of technology based coordination and resources,In this paper, we talk about the theoretical research of the module, especially the research on modular production architecture and organization, thinking about the actual situation of modularization operation of foreign automobile industry, analyses six kinds of problems for Chinese automotive enterprises in the process of module implementation. on this basis, we get the effective implementation of modular design, that are the accumulation, form of the premise that the product architecture, interface and standard by combined with the modular product design and key factors of organization. Due to building the modularization organization, we should give full play to the role of the market. We have to act with the rules of market in the corporation if we had to do it ourselves, in other words, we could make standardization of productions if we have to buy something from the market outside, in short the market should be full competition.On this basis, the paper gives some advises about implementation of modular, that is the construction of modular product platform and implement organization operation modular transformation. At last, the paper especially mentions to creating outstanding products to improve the market competitiveness of production.
