Study On WTO’s Special Safeguard Measures For Agricultural Product

With more and more frequently in international agricultural trade, agricultural special safeguard measures(Special Safeguard, abbreviated as SSG) reached in the Uruguay Round negotiations because of their own shortcomings and disadvantages of developing members, and developing members in order to fight in international trade The more fair and orderly legal environment, have called for the establishment of a new agricultural special safeguard measures, namely the special agricultural safeguard mechanism(Special Safeguard Mechanism, abbreviated as SSM). In this paper, the perspective of international law, the special safeguard measures on agricultural issues under the WTO framework of basic research, deepen the special safeguard measures for agricultural scientific understanding and positioning, in theory, produce agricultural special safeguard measures sort of SSG in content and identify problems,while SSG,SSM changes to the inevitability and elaborate on the current contents of the SSG,SSM were compared in order to better understand the difference. In the final chapter also describes the position of our country, for our country and the importance of negotiations on some of our suggestions in the process of negotiating a new agricultural negotiations in the future.
