In recent years, The hotel industry ushered in rapid development opportunities, and the hotel industry is becoming one of the important pillars of the modern consumer services. As a economic center of the central region, Xiang Tan has a solid foundation for developments of the hotel industry. However, in recent years, with the leading of the tourism industry development, rapid changes have been brought in the structure of hotel industry due to the settling of some internationally renowned hotel chains. Together with the impact of some original high-quality, non-star hotels, the whole market of hotel industry in Xiang Tan are experiencing more intense competition. In this context, increasing the benefits and enhance the core competencies of the hotels through the reform of management is the development priorities of the new era, and releasing the potentials of the staff, developing the creativity and enterprise consciousness of young employees, further enhancing the competitive differentiation of the services and products of the hotels become very important.It is undeniable that, the hotel industry of Xiang Tan started late in the development process, and there are still a lot to be desired. Though some progress has made in the scientific management, it is still far from the goal of humanism management. Some issues are reflected in aspects of remuneration, career training development, performance appraisal system, culture environment, staff demands management, etc, presenting many difficulties to management humanization, especially when the proprietors lack a long term vision, awareness and experiences.This paper starts from the current development of the hotel industry in Xiang Tan, focusing on the construction of the environment for management humanization, conducting detailed researches of Four-star hotels such as Paragon-hotel, MGM Resorts International, HuaTian Hotel, GuLiJu International Hotel, and XinTian International Hotel. Questionnaires and interviews are provided during the research, a comprehensive collection of problems and shortcomings and the in-depth analysis of the causes are made from these hotels in management humanization. Based on the research, countermeasures are suggested to improve the management humanization and stimulate the motivation and innovation of staffs.Finally, through investigation and research, this paper come to following conclusions: first, humanized management will become the new development direction of the hotel management; second, the staff management of Xiang Tan City hotel exists some deficiencies; third, providing several measures together on promoting the humanized management of staff of Xiang Tan hotel.
