Green Hotel In The Tourist City In China Hotel Industry Research

Green hotel theory is a new hotel development theory, which provides some operational mode in detail for building green hotel. But the theory is in need of proving and rectifying. On the basis of green hotel theory and overseas and domestic researches review, the author concludes the focus and weakness of recent green hotel theory study.Green hotel theory is not applied widely in domestic tourism cities after some research in Yang Zhou. Some tourism cities and hotels pay much attention to build green hotel, but most tourism cities and hotels are not aware of the advantage to build green hotel so that they ignore it. The author makes analysis from macroscopic and microscopic aspect including national policies and hotel and comes to the conclusion that hotel theory is difficult to be applied because of the theory not perfect, development of domestic economy, the government and the hotel corporation lack of awareness. Bottleneck problem of green hotel theory not applied well in domestic tourism cities has been founded after the analysis.The author advises some strategies to solve the problem that making use of star hotel evaluation system to build green hotels in domestic tourism cities. According to domestic tourism cities standard, the authors propose to complete the star hotels and green hotels evaluation system in different cities and years. Star hotels and green hotels evaluation system of every level tourism cities are reached to the standard in 12 years. The proposed strategy is a hypothesis, which is required to prove its applicability.
