The Research On Developing Strategy Of A Company

The semiconductor industry is very cyclical, and the development of intelligent devices also ushered this industry into the recovery period. At the same time, considering about information safety, industrial safety and industrial structure adjustment, our country starts to pay more attention to the development of the industry localization process. Supporting policies give priority to create inner-market, along with subsidies. Company A is the leading enterprise of semiconductor industry, with significant technical advantage, is the most likely to benefit from the development of China semiconductor industry and government support. In this background, processing scientific and detailed analysis of the company’s internal and external environment and then coming up with a targeted and practical company development strategy are of crucial importance.This paper, firstly, reviews the historical evolution and the enterprise condition of company A. Then, the in-depth analysis of external macro environment and internal environment with Porter’s five forces model and SWOT model are given. It not only excavates the opportunities and threats faced by the company A but also illustrates the internal strengths and weaknesses of it. Thirdly, this paper designs four kinds of strategies-SO, WO, ST, WT strategies by the SWOT analysis method. In line with company A’s actual situation, this paper provides corporate-level strategy, career-layer strategy, function-layer strategy. Finally, it comes to the opinion that growth-form strategy should be adopted by company A: make full use of internal resources, seize the opportunities provided by the external environment, try to overcome their own weaknesses, and avoid the threat of the external environment. This article presents strategic measures in aspects of human resources, technology resources and so on, further analysis the possibility fo the strategy implementation, and safeguard measures are put forward.
