In recent years, numerous domestic and foreign experts and scholars have researched engineering projects and made a lot of achievements. However, most of the studies focused on time and costs. There is a lack of electric power construction projects’multi-objective optimization, especially wind power construction projects. Wind power construction projects have features such as large investment, a number of involving participants, poor environment and complex construction technology. How to manage wind power construction projects effectively becomes an urgent problem. Therefore, this paper constructs wind power construction projects multi-objective optimization model in view of this problem.Firstly, this paper compares the traditional method and genetic algorithm for multi-objective optimization, discusses the connotation, advantages of genetic algorithms, and the contents of synergism, introduces the idea of synergetic theory into genetic algorithms, and designs the synergetic multi-objective optimization processes, considering duration, cost and quality objectives. Then this paper constructs multi-objective system based on the analysis of wind power construction projects’civil engineering and electrical engineering processes, and respectively analyzes schedule, cost and quality objectives in detail, mainly introducing the influencing factors, control measures for each objective and how to quantify each objective. And then this paper explores the relationship among the three major goals of wind power construction projects, concludes the approximate expressions and builds multi-objective optimization model based on synergetic theory. Eventually, this paper sets up a simple project model and solves the multi-objective optimization problem using the preceding methods to verify the validity of the model.Traditional multi-objective optimization method has a lot of limits for objective functions. In this paper, three objectives were quantified, and the multi-objective optimization problems of wind power construction projects are for solved by genetic algorithm. This method improves the operation efficiency, and also provides the direction for the quantitative management of three main objectives. Coordinated contribution extent represents the extent each target’s contributes to the overall objective when all the three objectives achieve the optimal state. And this paper builds up the synergy target, progress target, quality target and cost target optimization model. This model provides a valuable reference for the multi-objective optimization management of wind power construction projects.
