Study On Evaluation Of Internal Control For Grid Construction Project And Improvement Strategies

Electric power industry is a capital-intensive industry. The construction period of the power grid is extremely long and it needs huge investment which maybe as huge as millions of or even billions of dollars. In such a scenario, it is significant to operate the internal control of the project construction efficiently to identify, assess, monitor and control risks. To ensure the smooth development of the business, power supply enterprises have gradually established the corresponding internal control systems to make the company’s business operations compliance. However, in terms of management of the power grid construction project, it is still insufficient to make the internal control of the power supply enterprises more effective and continuous improvement. At the same time, establishing a perfect internal control evaluation system and evaluating its effectiveness has become an important task. Thesis is organized as follows.(1) Go on the theoretical study of the grid construction project’s internal control. This section play the ground of the whole thesis’s study. At the beginning, elaborate the theory of power grid construction projects; secondly, elaborate the theory relevant to the internal control of the construction projects, and analyze the current situation and problems; third, describe the problems of internal control of the power grid construction projects; Finally, summarize this section.(2) Go on the study of the internal control evaluation of power grid construction projects. This section sets the evaluation index system based on the above studies, then compare and choose the internal control evaluation methods. Thesis selects five typical power grid construction projects as the basis of evaluation data to help evaluate the internal control. By analyzing, we obtain the dominant factors which impacting the internal control of power grid construction projects greatly. Finally, make the summary of this section.(3) Do on the study of the power grid construction project’s internal control improvement strategies. This section based on the important role internal control has played in power grid construction projects, then proposes effective means to improve the level of internal control grid construction projects from four aspects. Finally, summarize this section.(4) The summary. This section summarizes the whole thesis and gives the main conclusions.
