An Empirical Study Of Counties’s Economic Discrepancy And Spatial Framework In Zhejiang Province

County economy is the most basic economic unit in China. As one type of regional economic disparities, the Differences of County Economy is not only a common phenomenon in the process of economic development, but also an integrated reflect by result of different historical economic, economic fundamentals and policies. The space has been integrated in the analysis of equilibrium. We can meet the mind of high-speed County Economic development by analysis of changes in the process of economic differences among counties in the point of space, by the way enrich the inadequate of study of County Economic about space. So, the paper has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper makes a study about economic differences of evolution in time and space at Country level in Zhejiang province based on Regional economic disparities theory. In order to propose an actual and rational development strategy to coordinate the development of country economic, we also have to study the factor and development law.There are seven chapter in this paper:Chapter One includes the background and significance of the paper, summarizes the research ideas and outline. Chapter Two makes a summarize about the study of regional economic disparities at home and abroad based on the definition of basic concepts and theories. As major parts of this paper, the Chapter There analysis the absolute disparities, relative disparities and economic polarization evolution based on the 58 countries in Zhejiang Province, at the same time takes the Theil index to decompose the disparities of economic development at country level. Chapter Four measures the overall level of economic differences among counties in Zhejiang by the way of Principal component analysis, then finds out the spatial pattern and evolution of disparities of economic development at country level by the method of spatial autocorrelation. Chapter Five discusses the basic factors of economic differences among counties in Zhejiang Province. Chapter Six puts forward some policy recommendations to lessen the differences between countries. Chapter Seven points out the limitations and shortcomings of this paper.Here shows the conclusions of this paper:First, disparities of economic at country level is in the stage of gradual expansion overall in the period of 1993 to 2012.Its general characteristics accord to the hypothesis of Williams, which said the development path of regional economic is an Inverted U.Second, Spatial pattern of economic differences among counties in Zhejiang acts assembling characteristics of apparent HH and LL. Third, disparities of economic at country level have a deep spatial dependence but not big change in spatial pattern during the study period.Forth, the paper rises some recommendations which include government policy support, economic transformation, development of special economic, valuing Marine Economy and paying attention to education and technology based on the research of disparities of economic at country level in order to accelerate the development of county economy and reduce the negative impact of disparities in the county.
