This article is written from the perspective of the combination of economic rational dimension, social dimension and cultural dimensions to research the mosque economy’s concentration distribution pattern and build framework of the theoretical analysis of mosque economy.On the basis of the framework, we theoretically proved that the hui nationality economy’s ’doing business around the mosque’ in accordance with the temple and the rationality of existence through in-depth case investigation and case analysis. And then we highlight the religion, ethnic customs, especially the mosque "proximity" role in the mosque economy spatial agglomeration.By finding that the mosque economy is very different from the general mechanism of the centralization economic, we provide an important theoretical basis for urban hui communities, especially for the urban ethnic area build characteristic business block.This article focus on the circling roads of Caomen street, Jiefang road, Freedom road, inner ring east road’ centered by East Great Temple. By using field research, questionnaire, and interviews, we collected the basic data. By using Arcgis, we made description of industrial varieties, industrial scale and current distribution status of Masjid economy in the East Great Temple region. Then we measured its degree of concentration and dispersion. We combined the current spacial distribution status with survey data, and comprehensively analyzed the factors that may affect the spacial distribution, and obtained the agglomeration pattern of Masjid economy that differed from mundane economy through spacial locational selection. Following conclusion can be drawn:(1) The overall distribution of Masjid economy presented a’2 centers and 1 axis’ structure. The cross connected Qingping north/south street and Mujiaqiao street is the main gather center, and the junction of Caoshi Street, Weizhongqian Street, and Dahuangjia Hutong constituted the vice-center. the axis is a north/south axis alongside the inner ring east road, range from Caomen street to Mujiaqiao Street.(2) The agglomeration forms of mosque economy are mainly affected by the attributes of the industry. The industrial agglomeration form of Masjid economy can be divided into three types:intersperse, acnode, and polymerism. The is intersperse type is represented by residents living service industry and Muslim food industry, the acnode type is charactered by Muslim living goods retail and butchery trade of flocks and herds. The other industries are of polymerism type, mainly contained the processing and sale of daily consume goods, normal agricultural and sideline products which can be described as stripe agglomeration, and the retail of Muslim processed food, which formed the cluster and stripe recombination agglomeration.(3) All types of nodes are converging on the space distribution of the hui nationality "around the temple、the house", according to the temple and national tradition is highly consistent, thus theoretically proved that the hui nationality economy in accordance with the temple and the rationality of existence.All types of distribution outlets are gathered within the study area. The average obsevation distance of halal food’s production sales is the minimum, and production sales is more concentrated in the local scope. The wholesale and slughter of cattle and sheep have the most decentralized distribution.For the different network scale, in addition to the large and medium scale shops, are presenting agglomeration state.(4) Different from the division of labor economy, agglomeration economy caused by space form, the mosque economy essentially is based on religion, ethnic customs and other factors important foundation and the spatial agglomeration economy with typical national features.the factors which influence the location of Mosque economy can be divided into five categories: industry attributes, spatial location and distance, market and agglomeration, government policy, the influence of mosque.The influence of the mosque is the main difference between mosque economy and social economy and locate in a very important position in the process of location selection occupies. Due to the lag of the implementation and the deviation of the actual effect and the particularity of national work, the influence of government policy shows weakening.(5) Mosque economy’s spatial agglomeration features and national characteristics can be fully proved through analysising the relative importance of factors. In sixteen factors that affect the location, the top six factors are respectively:the flow of customer, spillover effect of mosque, close to the Hui community, near to the main road, the traditional ethnic of business according to temples and rent levels. Other factors have little effects on fewer businesses. The agglomeration of mosque economy has been formed under the influence of informal institution and transportation factors of markets. In this paper, agglomerative factor can be essentially boils down to cultural embeddedness, local identity and attachment,network structure, the path dependence and transportation factors of markets. It is the five factors that leads to the formation of agglomeration.(6) Mosque economy’s spatial agglomeration formation not only depends on the traffic market proximity, but also depends on the cultural embeddedness, local identity、attachment and the relationship between network structure and path dependence mechanism, etc. In the process of agglomeration formation, in addition to similar to the world economy by traffic market factors, more is the carrier of the mosque as an informal institution, through cultural embeddedness, local identity and attachment, the network structure, the path dependence in the operation of the hui nationality, eventually formed the mosque as the core, the economic form of outward radiation, built a mosque characteristic economic impetus to the development of commercial enterprise concentration.
