A Study Of The Development Of Chinese Modern National Enterprises And Relevant Management Thought

Chinese modern national enterprise is not only the history product of China modernization, but also the important impetus of China modernization. It appeared after the Opium war, originated from the Westernization Movement in nineteenth Century sixty to seventy years, riped in early twentieth Century, ended in the republican period, mainly including the military enterprises and civilian enterprises founded by the Westernization Group, and the enterprises founded by national bourgeoisie. The emergence and development of the modern national enterprises have remarkable feature of the times. The foreign invasion and the Chinese people’s awakening are the double motives of the origins of the modern national enterprises. This paper analyzes the historical background, political background, diplomatic background, economic background and cultural background of the origins of the modern national enterprises. On this basis, based on the view of management, the article refines, sorts out and summarizes the relevant management thought of Chinese modern national enterprises from planning management thought, organizing management thought, leadership management thought and controlling management thought, combining with modern national enterprises development orbit, "Strong demand" and "Beg rich" movement of advocates of the westernization movement(of the late Qing Dynasty) and a large number of historical facts about saving the nation by engaging in industry of national entrepreneur in modern china, depending on the viewpoint about management process and the management function of Management process school. Planning management thought includes the planning thought of the Westernization, national entrepreneur’s attention to plan and the strategy type. Organizing management thought includes the following content:national enterprise mode, constructing enterprise culture, human resource management and change management. Leadership management thought mainly focus on how to improve enterprise cohesion, motivate employees and play a "charismatic" leadership role. Controlling management thought mainly includes the control of the production process, the control of financial and the control of quality. In order to understand the essence of relevant management thought critically and draw lessons from it, the article evaluates the Chinese modem national enterprises and relevant management thought based on the core theory point of Environmental adaptation school, Industrial organization school and Resource based theory school, hopes to understand, learn and draw lessons from the relevant management thought and seeking enlightenment. The article can better clarify the characteristics of the times and the development of modern national enterprises relevant management thought, combining the development track of national enterprise. The fourth chapter is the relevant management thought of Chinese modern national enterprises. The fifth chapter is the evaluation of Chinese modern national enterprises and relevant management thought. The paper evaluates the progress and limitation of Chinese modern national enterprises and relevant management thought. The paper provides reference and enlightenment for the modern enterprise management in the sixth chapter.
