Research On Pricing Of Service Supply Chains Considering Risk-averse Participators

Pricing is the focus of people’s attention. Nowadays, in this cooperative environment, many enterprises pay great attention to pricing as price acts as a very important bridge between the buyers and the sellers in the supply chains. The research on pricing has very important realistic significance because it will always have a sharp effect on all society members. In recent years, with the springing up of service industry all over the world, especially in China, service acting as a special product receives great attention, so the research on pricing of supply chains has become more and more important. Besides, the existing researches on supply chain management all assume that the participators in the supply chains are risk neutral and the participators are all rational decision makers who chase the biggest economic profits. However, facing a metabolic world, in order to deal with the risk and uncertainty from outside, the participators are mostly risk-averse. Now, there are not many researches on the pricing models of service supply chains. Although there are many researches on pricing models of supply chains, they lack of systemic. So doing deep research on pricing of service supply chains considering risk-averse participators and making pertinent models on pricing of service supply chains have great significance on both theory and practice.On the basis of analysing the current status and development of pricing of supply chains, this thesis is to study pricing of service supply chains considering risk-averse participators further. The purpose and significance of the research are as follows:in the theory and method research aspect, proposes pricing of service supply chain models considering risk-averse participators, intend to enrich or improve the research of pricing of supply chains; in the aspect of practical research, this thesis gives decisions basing on the models through debate and analyse the relative propertites. The results have great guidance and reference significance on modeling pricing of service supply chains considering risk-averse participators.This thesis mainly finishes the following two works:First, make a model of pricing of a centralized service supply chain with risk-averse participators. Under the condition of two-stage supply chain, which contains one supplier and one retailer and the participators in the supply chain are willing to make decisions in the perspective of the whole supply chain in order to guarantee the most profit of the supply chain. Besides, considering the risk-averse participators, we propose a model of pricing of a centralized service supply chain considering risk-averse participators. For research about this problem, the research frame, general description, assumptions, model of structure and the solution method of this problem are given. This paper concludes the optimal solution of pricing, in the case that decision makers are risk-averse.Second, make a model of pricing of a decentralized service supply chain with risk-averse participators. Under the condition of two-stage supply chain, which contains one supplier and one retailer and the participators in the supply chain make pricing decisions in their own perspective in order to make their own profit most. Besides,, considering the risk-averse participators, we propose a model of pricing of a decentralized service supply chain considering risk-averse participators. For research about this problem, the research frame, general description, assumptions, model of structure and the solution method of this problem are given. This paper concludes the optimal solution of pricing, in the case that decision makers are risk-averse.The proposed investment model that considers participators’ risk-averse attitude can not only be used in service supply chains but also in general supply chains, as service can be regarded as a special product, the impact of the lead-time and the lead-time reliability of getting the service on the pricing models is proper in both service supply chains and general supply chains. This paper provides a theoretical guidance framework and the framework of analysis to the study of pricing models of supply chains considering participators’ risk-averse attitude, and also provides the ideas and guidance of the related study.
