Research On Management Of Working Capital Of Y Company Based On The Concept Of Supply Chain

The development and prosperity of any enterprise are benefited from not only the prosperity of good market environment, wise leadership decisions, united team, but also a healthy working capital management. It can be said that funds as sunlight and air is the key to survival of all business, and it works throughout the entire enterprise life cycle. In recent years, the impact of the economic crisis continues and the international trade situation downturn. As a result, intense competition between companies increases sharply. Whether having sufficient funds to respond to the changing market environment has become the focus of corporate management. We often see bankruptcy case of large enterprises because of funding chain breaks. In the investment industry, funds mismanagement leads to capital taken out and cases that hurt investor are not uncommon. Many scholars and business managers are now concerned about how to increase profitability by improving working capital management efficiency and level.Through access to information, we find that early researches of working capital management are concentrated on particular subject and indicators. In recent years, focus of the channel theory, supply chain theory and customer relationship theory makes big breakthrough on working capital management. Given the academic theory system is not mature currently, working capital management innovative research is continuing. This article is a practical research based on existing theory. It tries to explore new operational working capital management method based on supply chain management in order to improve capital management performance. This paper is based on actual research, selects true andaccurate data and uses many research methods including statistical analysis, case analysis and theory analysis. Supply chain as a starting point, helps to make a comprehensive analysis of the company’s working capital management. The highlight of this paper is trying building a more efficient and rational working capital management system through comparison of the past five years financial data. It will provide a useful reference for working capital management research, related businesses decisions and all industry.As an application-type paper, it is divided into five parts. The first part introduces research background, purpose and significance of this study. It also describes the methods, ideas and innovations. In the second part, review, summary and reflection of working capital management theory and supply chain theory set foundation of this research paper. The third part displays Y Corporation as specific case. This part use real data in recent five years to analysis the current situation and problems of its working capital management and to further analyze the reasons. The fourth part builds a more reasonable working capital management system by combining theory and practice according to specific situation of Y Corp. In this way, it will provide some useful suggestions for the development of Y Corp. as well as all similar companies in the industry. The fifth part of this paper is the final part and the summary part. It describes and analyzes the findings of deficiencies in order to make prospects for future research.
