Marine Economic Development Strategy Research Of Jiangsu Province

During the 12th Five-Year-Plan, marine economic development strategy has become more and more important in China’s national economy. In the National Marine Economy Development’s 12th Five-Year-Plan, marine economic development strategy has already risen to national development strategy level. So we should accelerate the transformation of the patter of marine economic development,bring forth new ideas of marine management mechanism,promote marine management structure adjustment and upgrade and give more efforts to marine environmental protection. By doing those things could ensure the marine economic develop persistently. Jiangsu located I the center along the east coasts of our country, and it is abundant marine resources and has advantageous conditions for the development of marine economic. The party’s fifth plenary of the 11th presented clearly the general requirement of marine economic development. It pointed out the direction of the formulation and implementation of marine economic development strategy. The economic development of Jiangsu province will have great opportunities for development.The article first laid out the objective and significance of marine economic development strategy of Jiangsu province. It reviews and summarizes of the domestic and foreign literature about marine economic development and marine economic development strategy. And it collected the resources industry policy and scientific research conditions of marine economic development strategy. Secondly, it analysis the problem of the marine economic development strategy,by consulting and using for reference of American Japanese Australian and Canadian marine economic development strategy, set a goal and thought of marine economic development of Jiangsu province. Finally, through the research and analysis of marine economic development, it put forward three development strategies as follows, marine economic sustainable economic development, marine industrial structure optimization strategy, the coordinated development of marine.The keystone of this article is that it analyzes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of marine economic development of Jiangsu province. On the basis of the documents of marine economic development and the principles of marine sustainable economic development, it determined the ocean leading industry in Jiangsu province which is applying the method of grey correlative analysis. Through analysis of a number of angles like marine industrial structure, marine sustainable economic development, newly emerging marine industry, marine industrial clustering and sea and land market integration. And then it put forward the ideas of marine industrial structure optimization and marine industry coordinated development strategy. Besides, marine industry coordinated development strategy has a certain initiative. I hope through this article research can provide reference for Jiangsu province marine economic development strategy and contribute to the marine economic development of Jiangsu province.
