Research On Xiang Xi Youshui River Shipping During The Period Of The Republic Of China

Traffic development has had a profound impact on society, for shipping as the traditional transportation way whether people travel,goods transportation, the development of economic and cultural development are inextricably linked. During the period of the republic of China of Xiangxi shipping due to the special geographical position, its development has quite obvious difference from the great river.Research from the regional social history on Xiangxi shipping for the society development or change is to supplement and complete Xiangxi overall research, is also to deepen the Xiangxi society during the period of the republic of China.Youshui river is the study area of this article,which is the major river of Xiangxi and is Yuan river’s the first major tributaries, within the territory of the generations of feeding the people around, during the period of the republic of China as an important period in the history development, Youshui river plays an important role.The study area of this paper is based on Youshui river of Xiangxi, the period of the republic of China as the research time node, with Youshui river shipping in the period of the republic of China’s development, prosperity and decline as the research video, and then discusses and analyzes the rise and fall of history for Xiangxi society. Based on the collected and various materials, Xiangxi Youshui river during the period of the republic of China shipping development period is divided into rise, prosperity and decline, each period corresponds to analyze the reason. Finally the article discusses the Youshui river during the period of the republic of China shipping the rise and fall of the history of influence on society.From the data collection analysis,we can find during the period of the republic of China Xiangxi has been appeared prosperity because of the special stage.And several towns around Youshui river were named "little Nangjing".But nowadays as the hydropower station of Youshui river was built,the function of Shipping Wharf disappeared. So the foreground of Xiangxi was not so bright. Therefore, based on the analysis of influence,the paper tried to find appropriate methods to change this situation.
