Organization Reformation And Work Flow Reengineering

With the speed up of national defense industry development, the barrier of each military company is weakening, and the competition of military manufacturing companies becomes more and more intensive. The competition is not only limited to the technology advancement and reliability of quality, expansion speed and cost are also involved. Since organization structure and design of work flow affect the product development and production lead time, meanwhile the simplified and effective communication between organizations also influence product cost, therefore, company management level focus more and more on organization reformation and work flow reengineering.With the development of science and technology, information technology becomes more and more common, the individual to individual work mode and the traditional organization built on simple and stable environment of military companies can not adapt to the current dynamic market environment and customized requirements. This requires company conduct necessary organization and work flow reformation based on information technology development, and build up a new organization structure and work flow system guided by market, centered by customer and cored by information technology.This thesis studied organization structure and work flow mode, and analyzed the industry environment and the competition environment for military manufacture plant X. Based on this, this study diagnosed the unfitted situation of the traditional organization structure and the operation goal, and proposed the necessity of organization and work flow reformation. This thesis reviewed related literatures in organization structure, work flow reformation, and the new information technology tools such as AVDIM, ERP and MES. This thesis evaluated the performance of the reformation based on the customer satisfaction data, delivery execution data and account receivables ratio improvement.This thesis combines theory with practice, diagnoses the company organization structure and work flow status, discusses the direction of military manufacture companies organization and work flow reformation, and provides the reference to other military manufacture companies on organization structure and work flow reformation.
