Research On Management Method For Construction Project Cost Management Based On Information Technology

With the development of the market economy, in recent years, the unprecedented development has been obtained in our construction industry. Low cost is the core competitiveness for the survival in the cruel market for construction enterprises. The effectiveness of construction project cost management had a profound impact on the development of enterprises.The status of construction project cost management is analyzed and three problems are summarized.(1) There is no sufficient budget program is proposed.(2) The system of construction project cost management is imperfect and the accounting hierarchy is too simple.(3) Necessary cost analysis is lack.(4) The acquisition of useful information is difficult because the advantages of information technology are not utilized.Research on construction project cost management is proposed based on information technology. The main research work is shown as follows.(1) A framework of construction project cost management is established. The framework involves three layers, namely the environmental layer, the middle layer and the core layer. The environmental layer is the basis of the whole framework,which is composed of organization structure, personnel configuration and network platform. The middle layer is information management system, which provides the means for solving definite work. The optimization of management process is taken as the core layer.(2) The optimization project of management process is discussed based on the current status of Hebei 4th. construction engineering Co. Ltd. The organization structure, personnel configuration and responsibility system are redesigned. The processes of budget, audit and accounting are optimized.(3) A software for project cost management is designed and realized. Three-layer C/S structure is utilized. The program language is DELPHI and ACCESS is used as database. The security of client is guaranteed by USB encryption lock. The effect of proposed software is obvious. The project cost management work is gradually comprehensive, accurate, simple and efficient. The management level and management philosophy is improved.
