This paper studies the stratagem of the private enterprises, with the case of Chongqing HD Elevator Engineering Limited Company. This paper will case study the development strategy of the enterprises, so as to upgrade the enterprises, improve the core competitiveness of the enterprises, and then achieve a sustainable development.This paper contains the contents as follows:First of all, this paper will analyze the internal and external environment of the HD companies under the help of "PEST" analysis method, Porter's "Five Forces" analysis model, the "Five M" analysis, Evaluation of External Factors (EFE) moments, External Factors Evaluation (IFE) Matrix and SWOT analysis. Through the analysis, this paper reaches a conclusion as follows: The Company's external environment is good. The political is stable, with a policy support. With the rapid economic developments, the elevator markets grow rapidly, and the elevator technology changes and improves very fast. Though the competition is intense, the customers demand more and more perfect, the alternatives, suppliers, and potential entrants cannot threat the company greatly, so the company has a good opportunity, as well as fewer threats. In the company's internal aspect, the market and financial position are pretty good, and the service and technology are mature in some extent. But the internal management has some problems, and the building of work team is not very good. Besides, the scale of the company is not big, and the comprehensive strength is a little bit weak.Secondly, this paper, based on analysis of the internal and external environment, takes use of the Internal - External Matrix (IE Matrix) (INTERNAL-EXTERNAL MATRIX), and the mixture of theory and practical analysis to make a choice of the company's strategy: General Strategy - development strategies; development strategy - Concentrated (single) strategy, then the integration strategies; Competitive strategy - Competitive strategy from different ways. Specifically, the company should seize the opportunity to make a full expansion in elevator market, and take all efforts to strengthen the sale, installation, preservation and other main business, but not to expand blindly. In the company's upstream-elevator manufacturing, it should adopt the integration strategy. In addition, this paper points out the company's development of the next three years: The annual total revenue target, the profit targets, the quality, the security, the environmental objectives, the target customers, the enterprises'goal of upgrading, the innovation goals, and the staff's development goals.Finally, this paper makes a sub-strategy of development in the aspects as the HD market expanding, core competitiveness, internal management, financial monitoring, and corporate culture. And then the writer points out the strategic directions in these aspects mentioned above. The company should base in Chongqing, covering the southeast; increase market share capacity; maintain unceasingly the advantages of technology and services; carry forward their merits. And these should be the company's core competitiveness. In house management, the company should improve the system, and strengthen management. Additionally the company should control the fund, the risk, the costs, and the efficiency. Moreover, in the light of the building of corporate culture, the company should make a clear direction of a creative culture.Through the analysis above, the paper gets a conclusion as follows: this paper makes an all-round analysis of the company's internal and external environment, which lets the company know itself clearly. This paper sets down a three-year development strategy and goals, which basically points out the direction of the development. This paper makes a sub-strategy based on the general strategy, which affects greatly all the other fields.
