Research On Profitable Model Of The Theme Park

At present, a lot of China’s theme parks’ profitability is not good, for the reason, the theme parks exist generally the similar theme, few ways to make profit, low rate of revisiting, brand image is not prominent, marketing efforts are not enough and so on. therefore, this thesis carry a research on the profitable model of the theme park, taking the Qingdao Polar Ocean World as an example, aiming to find out the suitable profitable model for the development of the theme park.This thesis takes the Qingdao Polar Ocean World as an example, using the document analysis, comparative analysis, questionnaire survey and Auxiliary method of graphic chart as the study methods, mainly focused on two aspects analysis of the profitable model of the theme park, which points out a series of problems of the Qingdao Polar Ocean World existed and puts forward some corresponding suggestions and strategies.This thesis constitutes five parts:The first part is the introduction, including background of the subject, current research status both home and abroad, research content, method and purpose. The second part is the related conception and theory analysis of the theme park, including the definition, development, type summary and analysis, as well as the theory presentation relating to this thesis. The third part is the research of the profitable model of the theme park at home and abroad, starting by the presentation of the conception and type of the profitable model, following the respective profitable model analysis of Shenzhen OCT East and USA Disney park, The fourth part is the research of the profitable model of the Qingdao Polar Ocean World, firstly, using the SWOT method to analyze the Qingdao Polar Ocean World’s operation, then point out the profitable model Qingdao Polar Ocean World used and its shortage, finally concluding this part with a probe of the profitable model of the Qingdao Polar Ocean World can be used. The fifth part is the summary and deficiency of the thesis, which points out that the theme parks especially the Qingdao Polar Ocean World must realize the diversity of profitable model so as to promote its steady development.
