Research On DaLian Laohutan Ocean Park' Construction

In recent years, domestic theme parks has rapid development trend not only in dramatic numbers, but also in substantial expansion of investment scale, which promoted theme park to become an independent economic industry. Project development planning for theme parks is becoming a hot subject in domestic academic study during the last 10 years. At the end of 1990, the study of sustainable development issues for the theme park in China was just involved, and this trend coincides with the domestic large-scale theme park being constructed in the last 10 years.In this paper, based on the advanced business model for the sustainable development of theme park in foreign countries as well as the status of domestic theme park and the SWOT analysis of Dalian Laohutan Ocean park, an important win - win - win model is put forward for the realization of economic, social and environmental objectives of sustainable development. Take Laohutan Pearl Coast for a specific example, a detailed analysis with practice is made to ensure the construction of Dalian Laohutan Park sustainable development. Meanwhile, in order to protect the planning projects implemented effectively for sustainability, the corresponding function strategies and security measures are made. Function strategies include marketing strategies, human resources strategies, financial management strategies and project planning strategies. The security measures include the strengthening of the enterprise's internal management, the improvement of the operating mechanism and the information technology construction and so on.This research is hoped to be valuable and significant for the sustainable development of Dalian Laohutan Ocean Park so that it can establish its own brand in the highly competitive market, keep effective development in long-term, and make the regional economic prosperity.
