A Study On The Socio-cultural Influence Of Local Tourism On Taining

During the rapid development of tourism in China, the influence of tourism brought about by tourist activities, which has attracted the widespread attention of scholars both at home and abroad, has stood out. As an important part, the socio-cultural influence of tourism is increasingly becoming a focus of travel experts. Taking the government as the leadership and the economic efficiency as the goal guidance, the last decades has witnessed the great economic benefit of tourism development in Taining County. Tourism has become Taining’s "pillar industry" and "life industry" and led to the economic development of Taining. However, although the development of tourism in Taining has a positive effect on the economy,it has already brought some certain negative influence to the local social culture. As a local tourism Educator, I has witnessed the great changes triggered by tourism development in Taining County. On the other hand,I have some concerns about the influence, brought about by tourist activities, on local social culture.Especially in the "Danxia World Natural Heritage" and "World Geological Park" halo, what will be brought to local social culture? With this question, I write this paper. This paper, which consists of five parts, is designed to probe into how to maximize the strengths and minimize the weaknesses of tourism. Introduction:The explication of the significance, the research background, the content, research methods of and innovation point as well as the technology roadmap of the research topic. This part portrays the present situation of the domestic and international research on the socio-cultural influence of tourism destinations as well as a brief introduciton of the domestic research status on the influence of tourism on Taining County.Part 1:The theoretical basisof this paper:an introduction of the development phase theory, cultivation theory and social exchange theory based on the analysis of social and cultural concept.Part 2:An profile of the developing course and current situation of tourism of Taining County as well as a summary of the socio-cultural formations and specific performance characteristics.Part 3:An assessment of the socio-cultural influence of tourism development on Taining. This part introduces the design of questionaire, on the basis of which the author analyzes the thirty-three factors related to tourism development of Taining and adopts significance test of difference by means of SPSS software.Part 4:A summary of correspondent countermeasures and advice based on the analysis of the socio-cultural influence of tourism development on Taining CountyPart 5:A conclusion and insufficient section of the paper.
