Financial Performance Evaluation Of Chinese Listed Commercial Banks Based On Factor Analysis And DEA

Today, China’s financial sector development, especially the development of commercial banks, has entered a rapid development and highly competitive era. With the deepening global economic integration, the increasing number of commercial banks, various property rights and assets of banks of different sizes appeared in large numbers. Under the current circumstances, China has formed a state-owned commercial banks, joint-stock commercial banks, city commercial banks, rural credit cooperatives and other banking institutions coexist competition, this multi-level, cross-type network has increased the competition between commercial banks in China competitive level, in addition, as the rapid development of finance companies, leasing companies, trust companies and other non-bank financial institutions, financial markets and other securities markets to provide funding media and payment and settlement functions of financial institutions are gradually enhanced commercial banks competition. How to evaluate the financial performance of commercial banks in this context, and improve the operational efficiency of commercial banks is a question worth exploring.In this paper, analyzed theoretical and empirical research on domestic and foreign, follow from theoretical research, empirical analysis to the idea of a study suggestions, based on the basic situation of China’s commercial banks, using factor analysis and data envelopment analysis (DEA) method combines.
