Study Of Supplier Evaluation And Selection Under Incomplete And Hybrid Decision Information System Based On Rough Set Theory

How to effectively evaluate and select high-quality suppliers has become an important issue of modern enterprises need to solve, many modern enterprises pay more and more attention to it. However, in the actual supplier evaluation and selection process, due to lack of supplier data or complexity of access conditions, the market information of a supplier often take some degree of incompleteness to modern enterprises. While for the supplier evaluation and selection condition properties, there was not only numerical attributes(such as price, delivery lead time), but also nominal type attributes(such as the product is qualified or not). So, the problem of vendor evaluation and selection has become a problem in a mixed decision-making information systems.Firstly, this article makes an analysis of the traditional rough set model and summarizes the rough set methods of predecessors about the processing on incomplete and hybrid decision information system, mainly include extended dominance relation rough set, limit extended dominance relation rough set, the prior probability of dominance relation rough set and neighborhood rough set model. In response to the shortcomings of these processing methods, this article innovatively put forward the weighted priori probability dominance relation rough set model. The new rough set model has a certain advantage to deal with incomplete hybrid decision-making information systems and then the article discusses the new model attribute reduction and rule acquisition method. Then, follow the principle of evaluation indicators, 10 evaluation indicators were selected from three factors level. These 10 indicators constructed the comprehensive evaluation system of supplier evaluation and selection based on the communications industry. According to the dealing steps of the weighted prior probability dominance relation rough set model, this article constructed supplier evaluation and selection methods based on the new rough set model through the process of data acquisition, data preprocessing, attribute reduction, rule acquisition and conclusion.Finally, the article took some communication equipment providers for example, and made an analysis of the multiple attribute decision-making problems about supplier evaluation and selection by the weighted prior probability dominance relation rough set model. At last, the method exported decision rules, found the equipment supplier’s delivery model to guide the procurement in the future.
