Study On The Express Industry Transport Volume Investigation Statistical Analysis

Flowing the development of economic, theefficiency and management activity rhythm was speeding up, the demand of goods’ express transportation which were higher-value, light quality, small volume, such as documents, thus provides a huge market for the development of the express service. China’s express delivery industry has developed for thirty years, the current volume of which is the second in the world, the growth rate of express delivery business and business income are very high. Express delivery’s status in post industry is more and more important, express delivery business has exceeded the proportion of postal mail,expressdelivery industry constantly enhance its capability of providing the service. National post office began to count the volume of express service; the statistical contents include the completed quantity and business income, as well as the case of each province. Express business’ s contribution for national economy and people life is more and more significant, if we want have a deeper understanding of express industry, master the discipline and the contribution to economy development and social progress, the statistic of express business volume and express income can’t provide necessary information.The purpose of this study is have a deep statistical analysis of express industry data, to understand the kinds of the type of express industry goods, transport distance, cargo weight, cargo flow, as well as the efficiency of express services, have explicit understanding of the contribution to national economy and social development, as well as provide data support for future planning. This paper summarizes the express business operation process, research the generation, transmission and storage process of express services data,demonstrates the feasibility of the express business statistics.On this basis, study the express industry traffic investigation statistical method and data processing analysis process. In the empirical study,the paper has got the business data of SF Express, combining with related data analysis software, the paper analyzed relevant indies, which include geographical distribution, transport efficiency, transportation distance, type of cargo, cargo transport, freight turnover, cargo value etc, then have estimated the national express business related indicators. Through the empirical analysis, this paper holds that the express industry traffic statistics is possible, which has social and commercial value.
