But, WTGs(wind turbine generators) almost impossible to keep availability at 100 percent because of the high level of the precision and technical stability, and the abominable working conditions. So, in the process of keep WTGs to operation continuously, the spare parts played a key role.The S wind energy company referring in the thesis has already had over 80 wind farms and 1000 wind turbines since it was founded in 2006. With the growing volume of business, spare parts and inventory problem is gradually highlighting, and is becoming the problem which is difficult to solve during the business developing period. If the problem is well solved, it will have a great significance not only in the efficient operation of WTGs, but also in improving the stock and cash turnover rate of the company.In order to solve the problem, the thesis did a detailed analysis and reduction, and the problem is summed up into several fundamental and operable aspects. After that, by using the modern methods of inventory managements, the thesis did a reasonable classify to the resent spare parts, and made a simulator investigation for the ordering policy and safety stock of various types of spare parts. At the end, by implementing in a pilot wind farm, company improved the efficient of spare parts supply process, and obtained a good economic effect. All the time, the spare parts of wind farm are one of the short slabs in the emerging wind power industry. The research can provide reference to the same type of wind farm when dealing with the spare parts inventory problems.
