The boom of global supply chain, the development of technique and the more expectation of customer make thousands of new industrial & consumer products available on the market. To be competitive in the market, all company push for new product releasing on time. In the result of such kind of environment, project management tools are welcomed by enterprises because they’re effectives on control of time, quality & cost.Mobility equipment becomes more and more popular in the world in the past few years which attracts more investors involved in network networking market and also results in more competitors in this field. A company is one of the elder enterprises in this field but can also feel the challenges from new comers and most of the pressure comes from new product releasing phase. The quality of new product introduction is one of the key impacts on market sharing.This article is focus on the study of quality management in new product pilot run phase. Plan out a pilot run quality insurance plan based on the problem identified in the history data. Use cause & effect analysis to identify design quality, component quality & production quality are key contributions to pilot project. Start from design phase, applied QFD to dig out the design impact to production. Studied drawback of current supplier management & made improvement to promote component quality for new product. Make use of quality tools as quality function development, PFMEA, quality control plan, statistic analysis, involving time management, people management to predict or prevent potential pilot production quality risk. And apply this pilot quality insurance model on a new product pilot project to validate the effectiveness. It helps to deliver quality product with less quality rework cost & also provide a reference for future new product introduction project. |
