From the traditional quality management before the industrial revolution in the late 19 th century to the present Lean Six Sigma quality management,quality management has gone through a long development process,and its scope from the focus on the product itself gradually extended to customer-driven product quality management model.And for many enterprises how to rationalize and make full use of these research results is not only the establishment of quality system,more importantly,how to make it and their actual situation combined to play with maximum effect.This article based on the quality control of Vertical toaster product development process in PC company,it analyzes the current product development process and quality management methods.Based on the data analysis of existing products,this paper puts forward the existing problems in product development quality management.Then use QFD and DFME A model as a new proposal to improve the quality control.Due to lack of sufficient customer demand collection and analysis,some product designed by PC company do not have clear quality target.Some key requirement do not give enough attention.So customer has poor satisfaction.Therefore,the paper proposed to use QFD to improve above problems,we establishment our own QDF procedure,using a variety of ways to obtain customer demand into product quality characteristics,through quality planning to analyze the product market competitiveness,set Product selling points to gain market advantage.And then through the evaluation of technological competitiveness to analyze key quality characteristics,set reasonable target value and use advantages of resources to focus on them,so that our product can be technically leading and customer can experience high-quality productsIn the design phase,we study current product data find that due to lack of targeted failure analysis and testing,resulting in some serious product quality defects caused customer complaints.So we introduce DFMEA as a control tool to establish a new design control process,design the reliability block diagram to analyze components,subsystems and the whole system.Through analyze of variety possible failure to fully assess and C alculate RPN(Risk Priority Number),Taken appropriate preventive measures to the high-risk items such as design changes,strengthen the testing.Particular pay attention to the critical quality characteristics obtained in the QFD,which are further refine d and tested,even if the RPN values are within reasonable limits,to further improve the quality of our productsThrough the use of QFD and DFMEA,we encountered some difficulties in the development of vertical toaster product,because the introduction of new processes and tools increase the workload of the relevant departments,but because of strong support from the leadership,we still successfully completed this product,After release to the market it has been unanimously approved by the customer,it al so help strong reversal of the company's competitive position in the market,and even overseas customers start to inquiry and purchase prototype.
