Environmental Efficiency Analysis On Papermaking Industry: Empirical Analysis Base On China Listed Papermaking Enterprises

Papermaking industry is a close to the national economic and social development of the important basic raw material industry. Paper and paperboard of consumption level is to measure a nation’s modernization level and an important symbol of civilization degree. At the same time, the pollution problem of the papermaking enterprises worldwide has been a hot topic of environmental protection, the paper listed companies are public companies, based on the environmental taxes income risk and social responsibility of the good faith crisis, research paper, the environmental efficiency of listed companies and its influencing factors is the company’s social obligations and the important basis of corporate governance rules.Choice of papermaking enterprises environmental efficiency research subject, this paper is based on the industrial development of the environmental impact of a comprehensive measurement. To establish an environmental efficiency evaluation system of paper industry and analysis the factors that influence efficiency of papermaking industry environment and quantitatively evaluate the environmental efficiency.Papermaking enterprise environment efficiency evaluation system, this paper is divided into environmental efficiency evaluation and influence factors analysis module, and through to the 20 listed papermaking enterprises empirical analyses verify the applicability of environmental efficiency evaluation system. Model running results show that the papermaking enterprise’s economic efficiency of scale, technology maturity, and the environment positively correlated relationship, different kinds of paper products will significantly affect the environment efficiency score.The purpose of this study is to use data, so as to promote the papermaking enterprises realize efficient use of resources, energy, and minimize the damage to ecological environment. Reveal the papermaking enterprises between the difference of environmental performance, is to promote "green manufacturing" the rising popularity of cleaner production.This article mainly adopts the quantitative and qualitative analysis, the method combine the analysis of theory and practice. In the first chapter mainly elaborates the research background, the released research both in China and abroad, and the research train of thought, technical route and innovation point. In the second chapter mainly introduced the increasingly serious environmental problems of China’s paper industry. In the third chapter introduces the classic DEA model, and this paper chooses the superiority of application in environment efficiency rating, and the indicators for papermaking industry design methods of dealing with the problems and the expected output. In the fourth chapter empirical analysis the environmental efficiency of 20 listed papermaking enterprises. The basic model called ISBM-DEA model and analyzed the influence of the factors through the Tobit regression model. In the fifth chapter analyses the factors that influence efficiency of papermaking enterprise environment and give some Suggests combined with empirical analysis results.
