Research On The Efficiency Of China's Logistics Listed Enterprises And Its Influencing Factors

With the rapid development of China's economy,the logistics industry plays an increasingly important role in the development of China's economic society.The logistics industry is playing an increasingly important role in transforming the economic development mode,promoting the adjustment of industrial structure and expanding employment.However,China's current logistics industry has invested heavily,logistics costs remain high,high input has not been converted into high output,and logistics efficiency is difficult to improve and is a major bottleneck restricting the development of China's current logistics industry.Therefore,the evaluation of logistics industry's efficiency is very important.This paper takes 62 logistics listed enterprises in China as the research object,and uses DEA-Malmquist-Tobit model to research in two stages.In the first stage,the net fixed assets,employee compensation and operating costs of 62 logistics listed enterprises in 2012-2017 are selected as input indicators,and operating income and total profit are used as output indicators.Based on the DEA model and the Malmquist index,the static efficiency and dynamic efficiency of the data of listed enterprises in 2012-2017 are analyzed.The DEA method was used to statically analyze the comprehensive technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of the 62 listed logistics enterprises.The Malmquist index is used to analyze the total factor productivity,technological progress and technological efficiency changes of the 62 enterprises from the time dimension,industry dimension and regional dimension.The second stage is mainly based on the data of 62 logistics listed enterprises.The efficiency value of the first stage DEA is taken as the explanatory variable,and the regional economic development level,enterprise scale,the nature of the largest shareholder,the quality of employees and the cost control of enterprises are selected.The five factors of capacity are the factors affecting the technical efficiency of logistics listed enterprises.The Tobit regression model is established and the regression factors are analyzed.Finally,based on the research results of the DEA-Malmquist-Tobit model,the research conclusions are drawn,and relevant countermeasures and suggestions are provided from the government and enterprises for the development of China's logistics listed enterprises.
