Research On The Upgrading Path Of Wood Processing Industry In Jiangsu Province

The rise and development of wood processing industry in Jiangsu Province,especially for the economic development of Jiangsu province has made important contributions to the development of North Jiangsu economy, but with the advent of the bottleneck of industrial development. And various development problems have gradually emerged, especially, the product quality is not high, the large amount of consumption of resources has seriously hindered the development of wood processing industry.In this paper, analysis of industrial competitiveness that the industrial upgrading based on the analysis of present be imperative, and at the same time, the low level of mechanization is one of the important factors causing the problem, therefore, put forward to improve the level of mechanization is the main path of timber processing industry transformation and upgrading of Jiangsu.The paper based on the perspective of industrial mechanization level from two aspects of theory and empirical analysis, and demonstrates the effects of mechanical level upgrade path for the wood processing industry.In the theoretical analysis, we discuss the mechanization level of conduction mechanisms play a role in the industry, the industry raise the level of mechanization to promote the industrial technological progress, industrial and technological progress to promote industrial restructuring and upgrading. In the empirical analysis, the2006~2013 panel data of nine timber processing enterprise in Jiangsu Province Based on the establishment of panel data model, investigated the mechanical and technological progress, technological progress and industrial upgrading of the relationship between the conclusion shows that the level of machinery and equipment to improve the level of industrial technology has obvious role in promoting industrial transformation and technology; progress on the industrial upgrading has played a positive role in promoting. Finally, this paper from the government and enterprise two aspects to the wood processing industry in Jiangsu province to improve the level of mechanization of industry upgrading path and made specific policy recommendations.
